Ingredients
Method
- 1. Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce
- In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Whisk together until smooth and glossy. Set aside two-thirds of the sauce for later use.
2. Marinate the Shrimp
- Place the shrimp in a zip-top bag, pour in the remaining honey garlic sauce, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
3. Cook the Broccoli
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp. Remove the broccoli from the skillet and set aside.
4. Cook the Sausage and Shrimp
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil. Add the sliced kielbasa sausage and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned. Remove the shrimp from the marinade (discard the marinade) and add them to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
5. Combine and Simmer
- Pour the reserved honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Add the cooked broccoli and toss everything until well coated.
6. Serve
- Spoon the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli mixture over cooked white rice. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
